Chloe, a farmer’s daughter, wrote this letter to thank you for your support. Chloe successfully petitioned Barnaby Joyce to help battling dairy farmers like her dad.

Chloe asked for a relief package and a review of the milk pricing system. When her petition exceeded 100,000 signatures, the Deputy Prime Minister personally called Chloe to announce he’d be offering a relief package worth half a billion dollars, and $2m to review the milk pricing system, making Chloe’s victory one of the biggest of 2016.

Here’s Chloe letter (typed out below in case you can’t read it properly):

“Dear Change.org Members,

Thank you so much for your support of Change.org. Without you, people like me wouldn’t be able to speak out against injustice, to fix a problem or to make a difference in the ordinary person’s life. You enable us to a better life.

With help from Change.org, I was able to raise immense awareness nationwide of the dairy crisis placed upon Australian dairy farmers. It’s important Change.org remains a free service, to allow positive people power, for everyday men and women to fight the good fight and to keep the faith, that members of the community don’t have to live an oppressive life, under the thumb of a greedy person / company. Change.org allows people to right the wrongs that have been forced on them. This is why your support is crucial within our country and to its people.

So, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing people to make a difference and leave a positive impact
